SEALED, BUILT, AND MINIFIGURES.

Three different things, valued three different ways. We buy all three, and we work out which framing pays you most before making an offer. We are happy to take an entire collection in one go — the only thing we do not buy is unsorted bulk, meaning tubs of loose mixed brick with nothing identifiable in them.

SEALED SETS

Factory-sealed boxes, retired or current. Priced individually against current completed sales, never by weight. Retired sealed sets are where the largest numbers in LEGO live.

BUILT & DISPLAYED SETS

Assembled sets that have been on a shelf. Complete builds with the manual — and ideally the box — carry real value, and most buyers will not touch them. We will.

MINIFIGURES

Priced per figure. Licensed characters, Collectible Minifigure series, and rare or exclusive figures can be worth more than the set they came from.

RETIRED THEMES

Modular Buildings, Creator Expert / Icons, UCS Star Wars, older Technic and Castle. Retired sets appreciate, and some are worth several times original retail.

LARGE DISPLAY BUILDS

The big ones — Millennium Falcon, Titanic, modular streets. Heavy and awkward to ship, which is exactly why selling to someone local makes sense.

Instructions and original packaging add meaningfully to what a set is worth, built or sealed. Do not throw them out before talking to us.

Valuation

WHAT ACTUALLY MOVES THE PRICE.

LEGO is valued set by set, not by weight. These are the things we check before quoting, and the things worth knowing before you sell to anyone:

Retired or still in production

This is the biggest single factor. A set still on shelves competes with retail; a retired set only exists on the secondary market. Some retired sets are worth several times what they originally cost. We check the set number and production status before quoting.

Complete, or complete enough

For built sets, completeness drives the number. A few missing pieces is usually fine and replaceable; a set missing a distinctive printed piece or a key minifigure is a different proposition. Tell us what you know is missing rather than hoping we will not notice — an honest description gets you a fair offer faster.

Manual and box

Both add real value, for built sets as much as sealed ones. A complete built set with its instructions and original box sits much closer to sealed pricing than a bare build does.

Sun fade and yellowing

This matters more in Miami than almost anywhere. White and light-grey bricks yellow under sunlight, and a display set that has sat in a bright room for years will show it. It is worth checking your set against a newer white brick before you assume condition is fine.

Minifigure condition

Printing wear on faces and torsos, cracked hips or legs, and missing accessories all move the number. Licensed and exclusive figures are worth pulling out and photographing individually rather than leaving inside the build.

Stickers and modifications

Applied stickers are normal and expected. Sets that have been modified, repainted, or mixed with pieces from other sets are harder to place, so tell us if a build is not stock.

COMMON QUESTIONS.

Do you buy built LEGO sets, or only sealed ones?

We buy both. Built and displayed sets are a real part of what we take, and most buyers will not touch them, which is why people assume an assembled set is worthless. It usually is not, particularly if the set is retired and you still have the manual and box. Send photos of the build and we will tell you what it is worth.

Do you buy entire LEGO collections?

Yes. If you have a whole collection of sets, builds and minifigures we would rather quote the lot than cherry-pick the best pieces and leave you with the rest. The one thing we do not buy is unsorted bulk — tubs of loose mixed brick with no identifiable sets in them. That needs a by-the-pound buyer, and we will tell you so rather than waste your time.

How much is my LEGO set worth?

It depends mainly on whether the set is retired, and on completeness and condition. A retired set in good shape with its manual can be worth several times its original retail price; a current set competes with what it costs new. We look up the set number and price against current completed sales, then explain how we got there. Free quote within 24 hours.

Are my minifigures worth selling separately?

Often, yes. Minifigures are priced individually, and licensed characters, Collectible Minifigure series figures and exclusives can be worth more than the set they came from. If you have loose minifigures, photograph them separately — they are easy to undervalue when they are buried inside a build.

What if my set is missing pieces?

Send it anyway. A few missing pieces is common and usually replaceable, and it will not stop us buying. Missing a key minifigure or a distinctive printed element matters more. Either way we would rather know upfront and price it accordingly than discover it later.

Can you pick up a large LEGO collection in Miami?

Yes, and for LEGO it is usually the better option. Built display sets and sealed boxes are bulky and easy to damage in transit. If you are in the Miami area we can collect in person, which removes the shipping risk and the cost.
