These terms apply to your use of whatthefind.co and to inquiries you submit through it. By using this site you agree to them. They do not replace the specific written agreement covering any purchase or consignment we actually enter into with you.

WHAT THIS WEBSITE IS

This website is an information and inquiry tool. Submitting a form does not create a contract, does not commit us to buy or consign anything, and does not commit you to sell anything. It starts a conversation.

OFFERS AND VALUATIONS

Any figure we give you before physically inspecting an item is an estimate based on the photos and description you provide. Estimates are not binding. Condition issues that are not visible in photos — restoration, reproduction parts, damage, missing components, or authenticity concerns — can change an item's value substantially. A firm offer is one we make in writing after inspecting the item in person.

We are not licensed appraisers and our valuations are not formal appraisals. They should not be relied upon for insurance, estate, tax, or legal purposes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

When you submit items to us, you confirm that:

• You own the items outright, or you are authorised by the owner to sell or consign them.
• The items are not stolen, and are not subject to any lien, dispute, or claim.
• To the best of your knowledge the items are authentic and not counterfeit or unauthorised reproductions.
• The information and photos you provide are accurate and represent the actual items.

We reserve the right to decline any item or collection for any reason, and to return items to you if concerns about ownership or authenticity arise.

WHAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT

We do not accept counterfeit or reproduction items presented as genuine, items without clear ownership, items that are illegal to sell, or items damaged beyond reasonable resale.

CONSIGNMENT

Commission rates shown on our consignment page are our standard published rates and are subject to change. The rates, timeframes, and terms that govern your consignment are the ones set out in the written consignment agreement you sign with us before we take possession of your items. Where this website and that agreement differ, the signed agreement controls.

Sale timeframes mentioned anywhere on this site are typical observed ranges, not guarantees. We cannot guarantee that any item will sell, or that it will sell at a particular price.

PAYMENT

For outright purchases we pay on agreed terms once the item has been inspected and accepted. For consigned items we pay after the item sells and the sale proceeds have cleared, less our commission. Payment methods are agreed with you individually.

SHIPPING AND RISK

If you ship items to us, they remain your responsibility and at your risk until we receive them, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing or provided a prepaid, insured label. We recommend insuring anything valuable that you ship.

SITE CONTENT

The text, images, and design on this site belong to What The Find and may not be copied or reused without permission. Photographs of sold items are shown as examples of past sales; they are not offers to sell and do not indicate that identical items are available or that similar items will achieve the same price.

Sales figures, timeframes, and statistics shown on this site describe our past activity and are not a prediction or guarantee of future results for your items.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

This website is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, What The Find is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or from reliance on estimates or information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

We may update these terms; the current version is always the one posted here, with the date shown at the top.
