THE LINES WE ACTUALLY KNOW.

There is a real difference between a buyer who recognizes a brand and one who knows the line. We know which G.I. Joe file cards matter, which MOTU figures were reissued, and why a bubble yellowed on one side changes the number. These are the lines we work with constantly:

Valuation

WHAT ACTUALLY MOVES THE PRICE.

Two identical-looking figures can be worth $40 and $400. Here is what we are actually looking at when we assess your toys, so you know how we got to the number:

Carded or loose

A figure still sealed on its original card is worth multiples of the same figure loose. If it is carded, do not open it — not even to check something. Loose figures still have real value, especially complete with accessories.

Card and bubble condition

For carded figures the card is most of the value. Creases, corner wear, price stickers, yellowing, and whether the bubble has lifted or crushed all move the number. An unpunched card is worth more than a punched one.

Completeness

Loose figures with their original weapons, accessories and file cards are worth substantially more. Playsets and vehicles need their parts, stickers and instructions. We will tell you what is missing rather than quietly deducting for it.

Original run vs. reissue

Many popular lines were reissued years later with subtle differences. We check copyright dates, paint applications and markings rather than guessing — this is where a lot of buyers get it wrong in their own favor.

The collection as a whole

Collections are usually worth more than the sum of their parts, because the strong pieces carry the common ones. We would rather quote the whole box than cherry-pick three figures and leave you with the rest.

What vintage toys do you buy in Miami?

Should I open or clean my toys before sending photos?

No. Do not open a carded figure for any reason, and do not clean or polish anything before we see it. Original condition is part of the value, and cleaning can cause damage that costs you money. Just photograph them as they are, front and back.

Do you buy loose figures without the packaging?

Yes. Loose figures are a real part of the market, especially when they are complete with their original accessories and weapons. Complete loose figures from popular lines can be worth a great deal. Send photos including any accessories you have.

How much are my old toys worth?

It depends heavily on line, condition and completeness — the same figure can range from a few dollars to several hundred. We research completed sales for your exact item and variant before quoting, and we explain how we got there. Send photos for a free quote within 24 hours.

Do you buy whole collections or only the valuable pieces?

We prefer to buy whole collections. Taking the best three items and leaving you with the rest is not much help to you. We quote the collection as a whole, which usually works out better for both sides.

Can you pick up a large toy collection in Miami?

Yes. If you are in the Miami area we can arrange a pickup at your home or storage unit, which is useful for estate clearouts and large collections. Outside Miami we coordinate shipping and can provide prepaid labels for larger or more valuable lots.
